How I work
Approach
Own the outcome. I hold the client relationship, not just the ticket queue. That means the renewal conversation, the monthly review with directors, and the escalation at 11pm are all the same job.
Diagnose before replacing. Repeat outages are a pattern, not a series of incidents. I assess the whole estate before recommending spend, and I write the root-cause analysis even when the service is already back up.
Make the reviewed path the fast path. Process gets skipped when it is slower than the alternative. Routing change management through the ITSM tool meant doing it properly was the path of least resistance.
Write it down, then make it findable. Documentation nobody opens is the same as no documentation. I document the process and then put something in front of it that answers the question directly.
Bring the client along. Structured status meetings, expectation-setting before the deadline slips rather than after, and recommendations argued rather than asserted. Trust is what makes the next recommendation land.
Build the tangible thing. A dashboard the morning meeting actually opens with beats a report nobody reads. I would rather ship the working artifact and revise it than circulate the proposal.
About
About
I'm a Senior IT Analyst on the service delivery side of a Mississauga-based managed services provider. My work sits between the infrastructure and the client: I'm the primary administrator for client servers, networks, and Microsoft 365 tenants, and I'm also the person those clients talk to about status, escalations, and what happens next. I own the relationship for five accounts, run their monthly Service Delivery Reviews with directors and senior managers, and mentor a direct report.
The work I'd point to is the structural kind. Stabilizing a manufacturing client's production environment and then building their IT function around it: operating cadence, project tracker, disaster recovery plan. Authoring a change management process with a no-ticket-no-change rule that ended unreviewed production changes. Leading a 500+ user non-profit onto a new service desk against a fixed three-month deadline. Taking a renewal from expiry notice through scoping and the commercial conversation to signature.
I'm based in Etobicoke and work across the Greater Toronto Area. I'm looking for a technical account management or professional services role in downtown Toronto on a hybrid basis, where the job is owning client outcomes rather than only break/fix.
